Israel and Hamas

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas is a war as old as history itself and it revolves primarily around control of the Temple Mount.

Jerusalem is the center of all world events and the battle between the Kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness rages over this 37 acres where the third temple in Jerusalem will soon be built.

This is the SAME place where:
~Abraham offered Isaac to God. (Genesis 22)
~David purchased the land to build an altar.
(2 Samuel 24)
~ Solomon built the first Temple. (1 Kings 6)
~The Temple was destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar’s armies in 587/586 B.C.
~The Temple was rebuilt 70 years later. (Ezra 3)
~Around the first century, King Herod made a significant addition to this structure, which then became known as Herod’s Temple.
~This is the Temple that Jesus cleansed. (John 2)
~Jesus predicted the Temple would be destroyed. (Matthew 24)
~In AD 70 the Roman Army destroyed the Temple again and all that remains in the Western Wall.
~There is a Mosque built on this site today as prophecied in Luke 21:24.
~The Temple will be rebuilt as prophecied by Daniel 9:27.
~The Anti Christ will set up his kingdom there.
(2 Thessalonians 2:4)
~This Earthly Temple and the land it sits on is a type and shadow of the heavenly temple. (Hebrews 8:5)

The Middle East is in conflict to this day over control of the Temple Mount. The devil knows when he loses control over that land, his time is up. The devil wants the one thing that he can never have and that is to be worshiped like the Almighty.

This is a battle about who we will worship.

2 Chronicles 7:16 NKJV
“For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”

Worship the One True Living God. Jesus.

Revelation 7:9-10 NKJV
9 "After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!””

The covenant that God made with Abraham still stands today.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem for this is the city to which Christ will soon return.
